Nothing is free! Not even knowlege
College, we are here how we need to go to college from our parents, teachers and the media. One thing they somehow always forget to add in is how expensive college has gotten these days. If you think about it then you begin to see that the schools charge you for any thing they can, eventually they are going to begin to charge you for breathing their air. In an article Mr. Clark I was reading for my comp II class it said that tuition is going up due to the fact that the states have cut back on their funding for public institution and that there is nothing that will stop the schools from jacking up the price when ever they feel the need a new stadium or state of the art facility. Attending UTSA I think the price is to high but then I look at other schools and it is pretty cheap when put next to schools in California. I think the states should cut down on the senators’ pay checks just a little to increase the funding for schools so that everyone can afford to go to them. When I was in high school li heard time after time that the reason all the people I hang out with were not going to school was for the simple fact that they could not afford it and that they had to work in order to help keep food on the table for their family. I was one of the lucky ones who got a scholarship but even with that school still is expensive. The schools charge one as if you wore going to be eating on silver platters and studing in gold rooms.Can some one really put a price tag on giving knowledge (Clark).
